Archives- Best and Brightest- The May 2017 Meeting

Our Best and Brightest meeting  was held on May 18, 2017 and is always one of our highlights of the year. For this meeting, we solicit nominations from our Parents’ Council family for MCPS staff that have made this year great for our children. We want to take the time to show our appreciation to these staff members of their hard work, persistence and commitment to the students of MCPS. Best-and-Brightestgroup 2017

We salute Linda Plummer, NAACP President for Montgomery County, MD.

The Best and Brightest event was enjoyed by many including Board of Education President, Mr. Michael Durso.

MCPS student led program, Minority Scholars (MSP) which focuses on eliminating the achievement gap, participated in the Best and Brightest event.

Long time, Parents’ Council representative, Deidre Stubbs, (Richard Montgomery HS) kicked off our evening by leading us in the Negro National Anthem, Lift Every Voice and Sing.

A delightful dinner was shared.

Each Best and Brightest Award recipient received a copy of his/her nomination.
