Mr. Ed Clarke, Chief Safety Officer of the Department of Systemwide Safety and Emergency Management shared an important presentation with school representatives around the theme of school security. He shared information about recent steps MCPS has taken to ensure the safety of the school community. Schools are now equipped with security measures in handling parents and incoming visitors. Students are also engaged in safety drills and other practice activities related to security.
